Our sail shade poles for ground are precision machined from solid steel. They are 2.5 inches in diameter and 1.8mm thick. They consist of three connecting sections and total 10 feet in length. I’ve tried other ways of anchoring outdoor string light and this is by far the best looking. They recommend stringing lighter weight string lights which does help a lot. The item was received in a timely manner. The base was smaller than the original base that had been broken and needed replaced. I had to drill new holes in the concrete to secure the post base.
