This looks good, not cheap particle board. However, I can't give 5 stars because it is so cheaply made. I don't think it's obvious unless you've assembled it. The metal is so thin- two pieces were warped from shipping . The wood is super lightweight pine. You can carve in it with a fingernail. There are already several scuffs on it before assembly. The instructions are poor. We had to take apart and put back together several times because key details were not included. Also, it shows the last step is installing glass doors, but that's impossible to do with the top piece on so I had to take it off to put doors on. There drawer has no rail or fittings , so it doesn't close all the way. In all it's better than mdf , but not worth the $ and I have serious doubts it will hold up long without scratches .. Milo. The entire TV stand left me with a lot to be desired. The colour is completely off from the advertisement, the fit and finish is terrible. The left side of the tv stand, as pictured, was completely bowed. I had to tighten the side as much as possible without breaking the soft low quality wood that was used. The finish on the wood is entirely inconsistent and will scratch very easily. Overall, I am quite disappointed with the product especially for 300. I’m not sure I trust this to even hold my TV. I was very surprised how well this went together, everything was fairly easy and smooth until I got to installing the door hinges. I figured it out though and it looks great. I really like the fire feature, I was afraid it would look fake and tacky but it doesn’t at all. It has a very nice glow and I can’t wait to turn it on during the winter and create some nice ambience in the house. Beautiful quality piece of furniture, worth the money and wait. Soft closing drawers with adjustable cuboard space. Cut outs in the back for wires to go through. Really nice height. Natural affects on the wood like knots and paths where worms and other bugs went through the wood, making every piece unique. Heavy duty and exactly what I was looking for.
