This is a lovely insert. It's hard-to-find smaller ones, size wise. Many fireplaces are quite large. I ordered the 50in linear electric fireplace for my bedroom and I love it. This is the second electric fireplace I have gotten and the other one I got was by a different brand and while I really like it, I like this one even more for its very subtle controls. I had to really zoom in so you can see them. From standing height you cannot see the switch and you cannot see the blacked out controls on the face of the fireplace. I did it myself but I used several jacks to level off and center everything. Also the provided anchors don't seem to be sufficient so I would add additional support in the other pre-drilled holes..
