It has a 7 pound weight but even with the weight, it is just constructed better than any blanket I've ever bought or used. The stitching looks to be a heavier weight which is nice because it will last longer. The colors are nice and bright and the designs are beautiful. My son just loves to use this blanket for nap time. He just snuggles and roots around in it because he says it's so soft and feels so good. And it is super soft. Has a soft velvety feel. It's a 40x60 size so it fits nicely on his twin bed like a throw. I've not washed yet so not sure how it holds up but I intend to hand wash just to keep it in great shape. This was super easy to put together. I currently have it attached to my toddler's Montessori floor bed before the new one arrives and it attached fine, though I can see there being issues if the gap between rails is too far apart or if the rails aren't flat but rounded. I generally like the color scheme of the mobile though I wonder if it could've just as easily been made all in wood instead of plastic to then avoid needing the ruched fleece covering. The overall look feels like it would've been improved if it didn't have that going for it. Music box was fine, and the mobile moved smoothly enough without being too overwhelmed by the sound of the mechanism operating. I might try to replace the crane part of the mobile tbh.
