Pros: it is made of cast iron, heavy, which is nice. It was not hard to put together and hook up. It look nice decoratively Cons: when we hooked it up there was a very small leak on the top of the iron spout. Luckily we bought 2 and used the spout out of the other one, will need to return 1 or buy another spout. The holes on the top cap piece, if you lined them up and used the screws it left a small gap, without the screws it laid flat but is loose without the screws. This table is lovely. It is a bit confusing to put together because the instructions are poorly done. The handle is different from the picture but I don’t mind that. The lock nut mechanism underneath is also different but better I think. Use the picture to see how the bolts are put in because on the directions they’re not correct. I absolutely love this pedestal table, and I get so many comments on the uniqueness of it. The only problem is that it came spray painted silver and I wanted it black. But I made that happen with a can of spray paint and distressed it with metallic bronze. I also wanted to "warm" up the look to this industrial piece to match the other industrial style pieces that I have, so I took some pine shiplap that I stained brown and fastened it to the top..
