I am very happy with my chairs. The size and color are just as expected. I did order samples of upholstery, which I highly recommend. By doing so, as seen in the photos, I was able to match very closely with my footstools. The seaming is beautifully done. HOWEVER, the reason for my four stars, is that the seat cushion extends several inches over the edge of the chair as seen in the photo. I’m quite sure this will affect how the seat wears over time.. I got the sofa bed in beige faux leather with cherry legs. I have not tried sleeping on it, and it is quite solid to sit on, but it is nonetheless exactly what I needed. I wanted to convert my son's old room into a den/guestroom that could accommodate him on his infrequent visits home (a regular sofa might have made him feel unwelcome and displaced) or that could accommodate the occasional overnight guest without encouraging them to linger too long. This sofa is the perfect size to create a reading corner amidst a wall of books, while still providing reasonable sleeping accommodations for 1-2 guests. I am very pleased. I looked far and wide before finding anything in a pale beige faux leather (I am vegan and dislike large dark sofas). I was surprised to find the range of sizes and colors at such a reasonable price.. Elizabeth. La Mesa, CA. Tue Jan 03 2023

I specifically chose this because it had 3 smaller lingerie drawers and soft-close mechanism. This drawer looks nice, but the drawer closing mechanism is not soft-close. When pushing it close you have to use more force at the end to actually get to close (so it does not close smoothly). Also, if you push from one side rather than in the middle or with both hands it does not want to close. For example, if you push the drawer where one of the hand holes are then it feels like there is a lot of friction and it won't budge. Because it doesn't work well it doesn't justify the price tag and I don't recommend it. (Over 1k). Anonymous. Tue May 21 2024

Bought 2 of these - and love them for the guest bedroom. We don't have guests that often stay in that room, so having a chair 90% of the time works so much better than a daybed. chair is comfortable and well made. Wendy. Fort Lauderdale, FL. Fri Mar 13 2026

Please refer to my review of the Phillips 76" Recessed Arm Sofa with Reversible Cushion for a more details. What I will say again is to please order the Archetype Hemp fabric sample before you order the arm chair, sofa or ottoman. As the fabric appears much lighter in photos. You may find the photos I have of the sofa to be closer to what the actual color is. Lighting makes a very big difference in the overall look of these furniture pieces.
