The bookcase features 4-tier open shelves and 2-tier large drawer storage

I purchased two for extra storage in my bedroom. LOVE THEM. They were exactly as pictured. A couple of things to note 1) instructions says you need 2 people to build this. I built both by myself. The only time you *may* want a second hand is during the first step when connecting the sides, but I recommend flipping them upside down, it was so much easier. Building both took me probably 4ish hours with a couple of pauses in between for lunchphone break. 2) the handle color for the drawers is more coppery than gold and does not match (for the whitegold version). It is annoying but not the end of the world. I notice it because I know it’s different but others may not. 3) package is about 80lbs when delivered. This truly is a beautiful piece of furniture and its height works great with our high slanted ceiling. It's good quality and the instructions were easy to follow. Note: this definitely takes two -3 people to construct because the pieces are heavy and must be lifted while precisely positioned. Engineer husband had to build a scaffolding with shims to lift the top of the bookcase onto the pins on the lower half- see photo. Had to deconstruct and re-arrange the steps on building the top since it is so heavy. It turned out great in the end. Definitely need earthquake straps.
