Luxury shower surrounds at an affordable price for the DIY enthusiast are available in pre-cut kits for common shower wall sizes. These panels are lightweight and easy to carry, cut, and fabricate. Cutting can be done with a skilled saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate, you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Locktite PowerGrab adhesive or Boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls, but compatibility with the other substrates might need testing. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6"–8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” thick continuous silicone bead around the panel, about ½” from the edge, to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.

So far, everything looks good. I'm not quite ready to install it, but I unpacked it for inspection. I think it's going to look great in the guest bathroom, far better than a rod and shower curtain. I'm trusting that it's not going to be warped once I'm installing it. For me, I do think I would've preferred it to be gray tinted, but it's not a deal breaker. The packaging was decent. The only issue I saw, and it shows in the one photo, is that on one side of the glass the strips of Styrofoam used to brace and suspend the glass, we're out of place and a few were missing. The center of the glass was therefore not braced, open for damage. So far, I think I lucked out with no damage. I'll know more once it's completely out of the box so I can fully inspect the edges..
