Fiesta Dancing Lady Cookie Jar

Small Cake Plate- It can hold up to 2 cupcakes or small round cake

I have to say I was like other customers that commented. I thought it was an actual cake stand but for that price, I can see why it wasn’t however, it is adorable.. it is size to fit a large cupcake on or a candle. Whatever you want. I happen to just put a candle on top of mine and I’ll probably change it out to something different. It looks a little out of place on her. I thought the price was reasonable and I can’t even explain to you how well packed it was. It was like trying to tear apart a building just to get to her the shipping with super super fast so all in all I have to say that this is adorable and I will be picking up other things from this line.. Turned out in her Sunday finest including picture hat and parasol, this .catrina. from Luis Morales will add color and culture to any place she is displayed. Formed by hand from clay, her ostentatious ensemble is carefully painted in aqua, blue, purple and silver hues. The elegant figure is based on a satirical etching created by Mexican artist José Guadalupe Posada around 1910-1913. With his etching, Posada poked fun at those Mexican natives who tried to emulate the fashion and habits of the European aristocracy. Today, .la Catrina. has become the instantly recognizable icon of Día de los Muertos (Mexico's Day of the Dead).
