Fermob Patio Furniture

In 2004, Fermob asked Frederic Sofia to reinterpret the legendary chairs and armchairs of the Jardin du Luxembourg, created in 1923 in the Paris parks department workshops, and which Fermob still manufactures today for the city's public gardens. The result was a chair and armchair with distinctive lines and forms, combining the lightness and resistance of aluminum, the comfort of curved seat slats, and the practicality of a stackable frame.

Lightness and elegance are the watchwords for the Opera tables, which lend themselves to all styles, from the most classic to the ultra-contemporary. So, let your creative side loose, and mix and match Opera with the colors and chairs of your choice!

This table was packed very securely, so it came without any transit related damage. Assembly was not overly complex and only took 20-30 minutes (including breaking down box), but it did require a little strength given the 4 legs first each/individually attach to a circular stabilizer followed by fastening to the underside of the tabletop; you have to be able to "stretch" the legs into their securing position (interlocked with a fixed threaded, headless "bolt" that is mounted to the underside of the table top) and I dont believe my wife would have been able to accomplish this alone due to how tought the legs were. The final result is a very sturdy and comfortable table.. Garrett. Montgomery, TX. Sun Sep 08 2024

The durability of its construction combined with the simple folding system makes this table a great choice for a wide variety of outdoor spaces.

Like the Luxembourg lounge chair, the Luxembourg lounge armchair features a wider seat than other pieces in the collection. While it doesn’t lean as far back as the low chair, the back is tilted just enough to combine comfortability with functional versatility. The lounge armchair features ergonomic armrests and is an excellent addition to outdoor living spaces, as its light, aluminum construction allows it to be moved and stacked with ease.

We love these. We purchased the 'green' color chairs (the color to me is like kermit the frog green). The are a little more light weight than I thought they would be, I hope they don't blow over in a strong wind. They seem really well constructed. One of the legs on one of the 6 was slightly bent upon arrival. I bet with some effort I could bend it back. They are aluminum not steel. Which is great, as they are strong but light, and recyclable at the end of their life :). Sarah. Lexington, MA. Tue Apr 14 2026

Part of a long French tradition, the 1900 Chair mimics the design of chairs found throughout the romantic, gardens, parks, and bandstands of yesteryear.
