This gate is amazing! My dog is terrible about going upstairs and getting on the girls beds. We were struggling to find an attractive looking gate that was wide enough for our large stairs (and black!!! Its not brown). The gate is designed so it stays how you put it. You can stretch it or shrink it as much as desired and it just stays. I love that it slides rather than opens and closes with a door. It makes it much more versatile and compact. It comes with the option to put legs on it that can either roll or pegs to make it stationary. We did not use them because they are too wide for the stairs. This gate is awesome. This is Lupita, an escape artist disguised as a spunky mini schnauzer. She had managed to wedge her way out of any tiny gap in our fence. Long story short, we ended up replacing an entire back fence to keep her in our yard....which didn’t work! She managed to wedge through the new fence. Our fence was lined with rocks and stones in an attempt to keep her in but she still dug around them UNTIL...my husband found this!!!! I hammered them in to all of the areas she was wedging through and she has not gotten out of our yard since! Simply amazing! I would definitely recommend it. We had a lot of barriers left over, but will be using them on other yards where she spends time, like my in-laws yard.
