A series of slats eliminate the need for a box spring, so all you need to get are two mattresses (sold separately).

This arrived quickly. Instructions were easy to follow. Says two people to assemble, would have been faster with two, but I did it alone with some well positioned leaning supports to add bottom rails to sides. Overall very happy with quality, solid and looks great! Trundle rolls easily. I purchased two 8” Wayfair mattresses to complete the project. Ready for visitors now! Recommend this set up!!. This is such a great bed! My daughter is obsessed with pink as you can tell from the pictures. It is such a fun bed for her! The lights are great and color changing. It seems to be built really nice also. Instructions were great which was so nice! The only things that I would change about this bed are putting a couple extra wheels on the trundle part to make it a little easier to put in and out and having the ability to put the headboard on the left or right end of the bed would be nice but these are not dealbreakers.. We are so happy with this bed! My 9-year-old daughter absolutely loves it. Since we put it together, she actually makes her bed every morning and keeps telling us how much she loves spending time in her room — which might be the best review a parent can give! Assembly was very straightforward and easy to follow. Like some of the other reviews mentioned, it does take some time, but I chose to build it in sections over two days, which made the process very manageable. I was able to assemble almost the entire bed myself. My husband only had to help me carry the bookcase sections upstairs because of their size. For the price, I think this bed is an excellent value. It completely changed the look and feel of my daughters room and gives her a fun, cozy setup that she genuinely enjoys. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable bedroom upgrade that looks great and isnt overly complicated to assemble. We are very happy with our purchase! PS. Love the look of this bed and it gives us more space in that room. However, the instructions for assembling the bed were unclear for the bottom part of the bed, and we had to redo it several times before we finally got it. Also, only a 5" mattress will fit under the bottom of the trundle. That being said, my Granson loved it and actually slept in on it, lol. Thank you!. Ann. Marysville, OH. Thu Mar 05 2026
