Everything was perfect with the rug until I washed it. Most sheepskins can be washed when soiled. However when I washed it in cold it shrunk and was all bubbly on the skin side. This tan faux sheepskin for area is gorgeous. It is a very very light cream color, a little darker than ivory with gold accent. I am using it as an accent rug in a small dining area in the kitchen. It also mixes well with silver toned hardware.
