The bookshelf is wonderful. Very sturdy and it looks high quality. As you can see I am using for our tv and it’s deep enough where the hdmi cords have room to be plugged in horizontally into the back of the tv. One heads up though, the package is HEAVYYY so be ready to have someone help you carry it in. Other than that, once it was built (which the assembly was so easy) it wasn’t to hard to move around to where I wanted it. I couldn’t have found a better shelf for the space I needed. We live in an old house that we are remodeling so needless to say our spaces are wonky. We have a space next to our safe and this shelf fits perfectly in width depth and height. My only complaint is that the backing was not aligned and I had to remove the tape that held it together to re-aligned it. It caused the piece to crack a little which is ok since this is hidden and for storage. Impressed with the hardware - all metal. And it comes with a magnetic screw driver! Love Love Love this! Looks so beautiful in the space, and the chocolate painted wall really makes it pop. When the box arrived, it was really beat up with actual holes in it. But it was packed so well that everything was perfect! The instructions were easy to read and follow. I put it together in approximately 40 minutes. The shelving unit also comes with wall anchors, and its recommended to use. After I put my decorative items on the shelves, I decided I better anchor the unit, just for safety sake.
