I personally wasn’t very happy with this plant. The packaging didn’t protect it very well, and some areas arrived bent and crushed. We tried to reshape them by hand, but they still don’t look quite right. It also looks much more artificial in person than I expected. I’ve seen other faux plants that have a more realistic and better-finished look. You also have to manually bend and adjust the stems quite a bit to make it look fuller, and even after doing that, I don’t think it looks very similar to the photos. Actual palms are notoriously difficult to keep alive. I went through 2 of them before finally deciding to go artificial—one of the best decisions regarding houseplants, especially here in Seattle where there’s limited sunlight a lot of the year.
