First, the Good the chair looks great and is a fantastic option for a small room. The bottom cushion is soft and supports me at a 200 pounds. I love the fold out side table on the right. The mechanism is solid and very stable. It’s easy to put together, and is solidly built. The not so good it’s small. It does not sit that high off the ground so make sure you look at the measurements before purchasing. I am 6’2” and my knees bend up as the seat is lower than a traditional chair. Also, I’ve tried my best to love it as it does look good in the space, but it’s just not a comfortable chair. The back does not have a lot of padding and is very stiff. The armrest are more narrow than my wrist so you can’t put anything on it. I think if this is a chair to put in a small space, and will not be used often, then this is a perfect buy. Delivery was quick, fairly easy to put together alone but was unclear about the backing. Had to redo the back but didn’t require much effort. I think this is a stunning chair. I got the red one and it is a striking, rich red color. It looks so much like genuine leather that visitors keep complimenting my new "red leather chair". The nail head trim is flawlessly finished, and the tufted upholstery reminds me of the classic style of early 20th century furniture. It's exceptionally comfortable: not too soft and not too firm. One important feature for my husband and me is the height of the seat. We are in our seventies and have trouble getting up from low chairs. This one is spot-on. Overall impression of cover materials and chair assembly was good. Only one part was difficult to assemble - the Step 4 needs two people to put it together. This chair has no height adjustable system. Chair reclining position need to be set manualy and by screw which need to tighten after seting reclining angle. Beautiful chair. The back was hard to slide on and we thought we may rip the material, but thankfully it didn’t tear. The hardware did not include the Allen wrench.
