I purchased these pendants on the recommendation of a Havenly designer, and I couldn’t be happier with them. I never imagined I could replace the lights over my large kitchen island so affordably, but these pendants completely transformed the space. My previous lights were tiny, underwhelming pendants, and these feel substantial, stylish, and perfectly scaled for a big island. I had an electrician handle the installation to ensure all three hung at exactly the same height, especially since I’m working with a vaulted ceiling that’s angled, and the result looks seamless. One tip: have Windex wipes on hand during assembly. The clear glass version gets dust and fingerprints inside and out very easily, and if you skip cleaning the inside, the lights can look dingy even if the exterior is spotless. The glass balls are large and beautiful, but also very fragile. One of mine arrived broken, but Wayfair’s customer service was excellent and replaced it quickly without any hassle. Overall, these pendants are stunning and make a real statement over the island. They feel high-end and designer-approved, yet don’t break the bank. I like the design of this outdoor hanging pendant light shaped like a lantern. It has four glass panels which are secured in place by four bendable tabs per pane. My concern is twofold. One, I can see the bottom tabs sticking up and I don’t like that look. Secondly, I am a little concerned that they will remain securely in place because the fixture is going to be hung under my porch by my front door. We have very high winds here and I just I’m a little concerned about how secure they’re in place. I have not yet been able to hang the light because I need a taller ladder. I love the look though, and the lantern appears to be whelming.
