My teenaged son loves this rug! I’m so glad we chose the one with a flat head as I think the one with a fully stuffed head, although a bit cooler to look at, would have been a trip hazard in his room. The ‘fur’ is full and soft to run your toes through or lie on. And overall it’s a fun addition to his bedroom. I was a bit worried when it arrived as the box was much smaller than I thought it would be. And BE AWARE that the rug is just rolled into the box without any plastic wrapping so open the box carefully or you could cut through some of the fur. This is SO impressive!! I bought it to put on the wall in my home office in my FL condo, since I have British Colonial decor. The shading is gorgeous, nothing looks phony about it. It is definitely large enough to use on the floor if you want a real cowhide rug there. The only thing I could say is this: knowing the actual size of zebras, since they are much smaller than cattle, this rug would have to be from the biggest zebra that ever existed (LOL).. Aleta.
