It looks like wood but is metal the wood look is great! It was kind of easy to install. The middle bracket came with a plastic piece but wasn’t shown in instructions to use it. We left it out. The bottom screw place on the brackets are hard to get to with a drill. Well all the holes! We have to get a short screw driver or if you have those bendy drills great!
