As you can probably tell from my photos, Im an eclectic maximalist. I love filling my home with lots of décor, artwork, books, vases, and unique finds, so I need furniture that can actually handle my decorating style. This bookshelf has surprisingly spacious cubbies that hold a lot without looking cluttered. It gives me plenty of room to display my favorite pieces while still keeping everything organized. Right now its in my living room, and it fits my style perfectly, but Im honestly considering moving it into my pantry because its so versatile. It would be amazing for storing baskets, pantry essentials, or small appliances. I love furniture that can transition from one room to another, and this piece definitely does that. I would actually give this more of a 3.8 star. I put it together in about 3 1/2 hrs by myself. I had 1 piece that was cracked right down the middle and of course, it was a front piece so it is very noticeable. Very odd also because this piece was in the middle of the box surrounded by all the other pieces. Personally, I think it was cracked when putting the pieces in the box by the manufacturer. Anyway, it went together pretty easy. Not as easy as the desk but it wasn't horrible. I will say, the instructions are not near as accurate as the desk was. (Same manufacturer also). A couple pictures were labeled wrong and and some didn't show direction of panel so you have to look ahead in the steps to make sure you have it correct.
