The wok cooks very well and evenly! The handles get hot quickly so use an oven mitt or pan handler to hold on them. It is virtually non-stick if you use a little oil and get it up to the right temperature. I think this pot is great, clean and with simple lines. I have made soup in it and it seems to heat evenly. I like that the top of the lid and the handles are not metal which means that you can pick it up without an oven mitt. I'm not a professional cook, or accomplished amateur, but I do cook regularly, and I prefer cooking on stainless steel as opposed to non-stick. This is a solidly made 8 inch frying pan, that feels like it will last forever. It's perfect size for when you don't need to use a larger frying pan.
