I was very surprised how well this went together, everything was fairly easy and smooth until I got to installing the door hinges. I figured it out though and it looks great. I really like the fire feature, I was afraid it would look fake and tacky but it doesn’t at all. It has a very nice glow and I can’t wait to turn it on during the winter and create some nice ambience in the house. First of all I love it! I could not believe though that the shelves were not made of clear glass so the lights illuminate both the top and bottom. So I bought two 11X14 picture frames, cheap at the dollar store, and used just the glass and the frame as shelves. They fit perfectly. I then used one of the wood shelves as a base for my subwoofer.
