My family ribs me endlessly over my precious sink! It was shipped in the Arc of the Covenant. We had to use an engine hoist outfitted with a support bar to move the piece into position. It came with brackets and parts to hang on the wall, but at 400 pounds, the wall would have had to have been designed with this in mind. Instead, I did a Frankenstein bit to a thrift store oak kitchen table. We built a box out from the wall for plumbing access. Still working on getting the correct pipes and equipment, but I will have my sink eventually! Note for those looking: PLAN! It's ridiculously heavy, but oh so pretty. I replaced another sink that I had that was just too tall and was difficult to wash my face so I wanted something that recessed a little but still sat above the sink and this fit both of those criteria. I have to say cutting the hole was not the easiest thing as I already had a whole cut for the others but previously this is the third thing in this countertop. But it gave me an opportunity to get creative with the tile because I had to redo four tile and instead of using the yellow tile I used the pattern tile that I also had used on the backsplash and I think it really made it look snazzy. The faucet I also got from Wayfair and I like it because it swings and the faucet pulls out and has a sprayer on so it makes it very functional and Im very happy with it.. Angela. Conifer, CO.
