This is a beautiful piece. It did take two people to put together, but it was pretty straightforward. The space on top provides us with extra room to display items, and the drawers are perfect for storing trash bags, etc. The only reason for the four stars versus five is that we purchased this item to use in our kitchen as a trash can, as described, and it came with cloth -like storage baskets. Looks good but I feel it is flimsy.My husband and I have put together furniture many times before - this was a challenge! Took about 3 hours. We mistakenly put the base on backwards but I’m ok with that - less dirt to get under. We didn’t have the electric screwdriver - that would’ve made it easier but we would’ve had to be careful not to break the wood - it says that on the directions. We didn’t plug in the deodorizer - it made the cabinet stick out too from the wall. All in all, I’m glad it’s here but if I knew how cheap it was I probably wouldn’t have bought it.. Caryn. I'm really disappointed with this cabinet, everything seemed to be going fine up until I got to the drawers, which is the final step. The drawers are very poorly constructed with the worst slide assembly I've ever had to deal with on a piece of furniture. The drawers do NOT want to stay shut and want to simply roll forward. I also had to do some adjustments on the right drawer slides to make it fit because the pre drilled holes were incorrectly positioned. Also, now that it's fully assembled and I've been able to take a step back and look at it, I see that the right hand side tilt-out drawer face is sitting crooked which is affecting use. The cabinet is nice, not super duty but def stable when for my home. The tilt out trash can we love. I wish the cupboard side had shelves, that would’ve been nice. As it is there’s a huge area of wasted sauce that shelves would’ve helped to make useful. Also it’s not white, it’s cream with faux wood paint, so just plan accordingly.
