We installed the sage for kitchen backsplash. This tile looks amazing. It has so many hues of green it compliments our corian pine countertop wonderfully. The tile is unevenly textured, some tiles appear cracked and fixed, some are flecked and because of this it has great character. Any imperfections we had in our installation are easily hidden. The tile is lovely. The red/orange hue shows a little through the white coloring though. One thing to note is to make sure the grouter knows not to fill in the gaps on edge of the surface. Loved it so much I ordered 3 more boxes which were necessary to complete one of my guest bathroom floors. Somewhere I read that it was very glossy and I disagree. So dont discount it because of the gloss. There is some gloss but not overly so. In fact, I wouldnt mind if there was more gloss. And, the tile is not slippery. The colors are subtle. The X is a faint brown with a grayish hue. Or, it could be a subtle gray with a slight brownish hue. It would depend upon what your predominant color scheme is. I have laid a box out so you can see the tiles which encompasses 1 box (25 8x8 tiles). I ordered one box to make sure its what I wanted and the price increased 34 per box before I ordered the 3 additional boxes. The tile is absolutely beautiful and can blend with almost any color pallet. When I received the first box, not one single tile was broken to my surprise. It was delivered via a special delivery service, not UPS, and took a 2-3 weeks to receive. This tile would be absolutely stunning as a shower floor and much more affordable.
