Although this unit is not constructed from wood, the build quality is commendable. However, the surface is susceptible to denting upon minor impact, such as a dropped screwdriver. Furthermore, the item arrived with a pre-existing dent on one of the handles, as documented in the attached image. Overall, the performance has been satisfactory thus far, though I am uncertain if a resolution will be provided regarding the damaged handle prominently displayed on the front of the unit.. Elham. Wish we could give 1/2 stars; I'd have given this 4 1/2. Only drawbacks are the sliding doors do not completely articulate leaving about an 1/8th of an inch gap into the center storage area when the doors are in the center position and those corners on the upper shelf are SHARP.
