The pantry was much more sturdy than we expected. It's incredibly well-made, and I believe it will last us for a very long time. If you haven't read, there are metal bars under each shelf; pay attention. I suspect there will no longer be any wobbly shelves that sag in the middle. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. As a side note, we paid to have someone assemble it, thinking it would be very difficult. While it may have been, the people who came were spectacular. They arrived on time when they said they would, started immediately, and had it assembled perfectly in just under one hour. They were professional, but very friendly.
