Super heavy. The storage unit will work nicely with cubbie storage boxes - great for hiding stuff. But, beware when they deliver this, it just gets dropped off for you to figure out how to get it into your house. We love this buffet. We had bought a black one and a white one. The directions are 95 excellent, there were a few challenges, but overall, it wasn’t difficult to put together. The 5 that we caution people on is step 16 and 17 regarding the second phase of putting the drawer slides in. These steps were difficult to understand. You have to bring the pieces to the work area to figure it out. We both were working on a piece at the same time and came across the exact same issue. We enjoy putting items together like this and saving money, but this one took so long, about six hours, (there are 37 steps for assembly) that we agreed it would’ve been better to have Wayfair do it. for the hundred bucks a piece..
