Great file cabinet; perfect for my new retirement home office. I finally retired and moved into a vacant family cottage only partially furnished. I happily left behind old and outdated metal cabinet and mostly metal desk; looked forward to new upgrades. I know it will sound like hype, but I've learned the hard way. I buy lots of stuff online and when it comes to knocked down furniture I have to assemble, I bypass my prime options and go with Wayfair. This wood decorative two-drawer file cabinet is a perfect example. It arrived fast (actually a day early). Package and contents free of any damage, dings, dents or scratches. Assembly took a bit of time, but worth it. Instructions say two people; was just me, didn't rush. One small flaw was the final step. Task involved inserting the finished drawers into cabinet frame and screwing in last of two small machine screws, one each side of each drawer (to secure metal glides). Three went in with multiple tries to align screw with threaded hole in glide. The fourth wouldn't go; I opted to improvise with a small wood screw left over from additional spare bits that came with this cabinet (another reason why I go with Wayfair). A matching L-shaped desk is due today; can't wait.. Daniel. Sandwich, MA. Thu Oct 22 2026

Love this file cabinet! It’s stable and sturdy. Not the easiest to assemble, though. If I hadn’t had experience with some of the hardware, I wouldn’t have known what to do. Also had no idea the side rails had to be taken apart for installation - thanks to YouTube for showing me that one. Overall, a quality product but could benefit from better assembly instructions.. Dorothy. Annapolis, MD. Tue Sep 29 2026

The versatile piece serves as both a file organizer and home storage solution. Built with reinforced materials and sturdy legs, it ensures stability and safety with an included anti-tip device.

Good quality piece, great value for price paid. Assembly instructions very thorough despite other comments to the contrary. A bit smaller than I wanted - so I purchased two units and place them side by side. Wish there was an option to reverse door and drawers so side by side would function better.. Steven. This bookcase with the drawer is exactly what I was looking for! I love having the drawer to hide some things along with the two open shelves. It is a heavy piece of furniture which is nice. I will have to say that the instructions weren’t the easiest to understand and I’m a little disappointed with the way the drawer is sticking out a little on one side. I need to see if it can be adjusted. Overall I’m happy with it.. Hallie. Baden, PA. Wed Oct 07 2026

I love this cabinet! It was exactly what I was looking for and fit the space perfecty. I love the color of it and the adjustable shelves. It was perfect for storing my sewing machine and the depth is great as it doesn't up too much room. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the screws for the drawer knobs didn't fit correctly so I had to use two other small screws that I had on hand. There also was a very small nick on the side of the cabinet when it arrived. Otherwise I'm very happy with the purchase.. Amanda. New Hampshire. Mon Oct 19 2026
