I’ve owned a brown square counter height table for about 8 years. Disliked it since day one and when I came across this farmhouse one, I was excited. The day it arrived, the delivery guys put everything together and I think it took them no more than an hour. I highly recommend having them put it together for you. Had no issues with parts and nothing was damaged. But most of all, it is a heavy table. Not completely solid wood but close to it and will last longer than my previous one that’s for sure. Assembly took about 2 hours with two people, but the instructions were straightforward and the finished product was definitely worth the time. It is not real wood, so I would be careful with the surface—I wouldn’t place hot pans directly on it or set drinks down without a coaster. That said, it looks and feels like a much more expensive piece of furniture once assembled. We are using ours as a homeschool craft and project table, and it is PERFECT for that! Its a nice piece of furniture, but be careful of the color. When I saw vintage white , I knew that it would be rustic and not pure white, but this is well beyond that. Its creamy on the yellow side. Ive been in the paint business for 40 years and it is stretching it to even call it an off-white. See the attached picture. I ended up dry brushing some white over it so that it better matched my existing furniture. You can see the before and after. Once again, happy with the furniture, just factor in the color.. Darren. I absolutely love this dining room set! The color is beautiful, the chairs are comfy, the bench is a nice touch and the storage drawers put the cherry on top! The delivery was great, arrived over a week sooner than expected. My inly issue was the damage on ALL FOUR chairs. All in the same places. The delivery guys were careful putting it together so I don’t believe it was their fault, must have been how it was stored while being delivered. I can most likely cover it up with a wood marker.
