I’m surprised and delighted at how heavy it is. Wayfair white glove delivery drivers were as friendly and courteous as can be. The box it came in had very little scuffs for traveling across the country. No damage of item. Very nice hall bench with storage, pretty much what we needed. However, it was a BEAR to put together (and my husband is super good at putting things together). It took all day, there were a bajillion parts, screws, etc. and the instructions weren't necessarily in order of what goes next. I like how it looks and functions but wish the area up top was deeper for baskets (of hats and gloves). Maybe if the whole thing was deeper, the bench is shallow.
