I’ve owned a brown square counter height table for about 8 years. Disliked it since day one and when I came across this farmhouse one, I was excited. The day it arrived, the delivery guys put everything together and I think it took them no more than an hour. I highly recommend having them put it together for you. Had no issues with parts and nothing was damaged. But most of all, it is a heavy table. Not completely solid wood but close to it and will last longer than my previous one that’s for sure. Its a nice piece of furniture, but be careful of the color. When I saw vintage white , I knew that it would be rustic and not pure white, but this is well beyond that. Its creamy on the yellow side. Ive been in the paint business for 40 years and it is stretching it to even call it an off-white. See the attached picture. I ended up dry brushing some white over it so that it better matched my existing furniture. You can see the before and after. Once again, happy with the furniture, just factor in the color.. Darren. It came very nicely packed, it was easy to assemble, the supplied bolts are substantial and large, and came zinc coated, so I know they won’t rust in the high humidity environment I live in.
