It's perfect for the purpose we needed it: To hold a medium-sized TV but under a window. We didn't want to totally block the window so the height is just right. We love this buffet. We had bought a black one and a white one. The directions are 95 excellent, there were a few challenges, but overall, it wasn’t difficult to put together. The 5 that we caution people on is step 16 and 17 regarding the second phase of putting the drawer slides in. These steps were difficult to understand. You have to bring the pieces to the work area to figure it out. We both were working on a piece at the same time and came across the exact same issue. We enjoy putting items together like this and saving money, but this one took so long, about six hours, (there are 37 steps for assembly) that we agreed it would’ve been better to have Wayfair do it. for the hundred bucks a piece.. Love the deep rich navy color of this piece. It took me approximately 2 hours to assemble and it wasn’t too difficult to follow the directions. All the pieces were included and it was well packed. There was a slight imperfection on one of the drawers and the drawers don’t fit perfectly. That’s a little disappointing. I am very pleased with this console table. As mentioned in other reviews, it is pressed board with a laminate overlay, but you get what you pay for. I ordered the cream color. What was great: solid and high quality construction, easy assembly, perfect design for my purposes, great delivery. What disappointed: definitely not a cream color. It was hard to capture with my cell phone, but the color is definitely darker than all the pictures online, and it is a decidedly GREEN color, although a very light green. It is also more distressed than the pictures, so it had a tad too much country vibe than I wanted. But, it fits my space and is functioning perfectly to my needs. It is definitely one of the highest quality pieces of furniture I've ever bought online. The drawer hardware is very high quality for an online furniture item. It came halfway assembled, and the drawers were all put together, which is always the hardest part. So I was able to put it together by myself in about 40 minutes.
