I'm really happy with these stair carpets- it was hard to find ones with the correct dimensions for my staircase which has pretty thick edging, and in the color that matches my painted stairs and is textured. I was worried they weren't going to be soft/cushioned enough, but the cross texture feels comfortable on my feet and adds that extra traction I was looking for. All around a great purchase! *Some things to note- it was hard to peel the thin plastic off the back, so just take your time with it, and make sure the Velcro truly lines up with the carpet edge or it will look crooked and not stick right. I was looking for anti-slip treads that I didn't have to use adhesive on and these were a clear winner. They do have a bit of a funky chemical smell right out of the package because they are rubberized, but it dissipated within a day.
