These are amazing! I have slipped down our all wood tread stairs twice. The first time, I broke a coupla ribs. The second time I slipped I was three stairs from reaching the carpeted basement, holding our puppy. This last time I was just furious and fed up with them. I called a carpet place immediately and had someone come out to provide a bid for a runner but then? I just thought I'd check Wayfair. . . Wow. I am SO happy I did and with the help of all the five-star reviews on these, I ordered the closest color and best pattern. They are amazing!!! They adhere well to the treads, they fit the bullnose and I no longer have to clutch the railing like my life depends on it. Not to mention our little furry friend will be more likely to learn to go up and down, with these in place. If this is an item you need? Just buy them. Figure out which ones look best because they probably won't match your existing carpet, and then love your stairs. Also our steps are varying widths. We center the top stair in each flight, and then used a pattern to make sure the distance on the left side (in the image) was consistent. I am a discerning customer and it was important to me that these looked good and felt good under foot. They do both. With a nice finished edge all around, they lay flat and the adhesive makes them grip firmly.. Sue Brandon. Fort Lauderdale, FL. Tue Oct 20 2026

Love the look and feel! Exactly what I envisioned. Nancy. Newburgh, NY. Sat Sep 05 2026

I'm really happy with these stair carpets- it was hard to find ones with the correct dimensions for my staircase which has pretty thick edging, and in the color that matches my painted stairs and is textured. I was worried they weren't going to be soft/cushioned enough, but the cross texture feels comfortable on my feet and adds that extra traction I was looking for. All around a great purchase! *Some things to note- it was hard to peel the thin plastic off the back, so just take your time with it, and make sure the Velcro truly lines up with the carpet edge or it will look crooked and not stick right. When instructions say 2inches out, they really mean that. We were off by maybe 1/16th inch and it wouldn't stay folded underneath correctly.. Anonymous. Sun Jul 19 2026

The treads fit great and were easy to put down. They don’t stick as well as I was hoping so we didn’t end up buying flooring tape, but we love the treads.. Chelsie. Elkhart, IN. Wed Sep 02 2026

A hand-woven wool runner made to the length your space actually needs. Each rug is handmade in India from New Zealand wool, then cut and hand-finished in the USA to your chosen length, so you get a true custom fit for a long hallway, a staircase, or a galley kitchen without paying custom-workroom prices. The flatweave chevron in warm tan and ivory brings texture and movement to a corridor without overpowering the room. Wool is naturally resilient, stain-resistant, and comfortable underfoot, and the low quarter-inch pile keeps doors swinging freely and stays tidy in high-traffic areas.

Beautiful carpet. Installed with a pad. Used narrow staples and pneumatic staple gun. Carpet is lovely and made our stairs much safer to navigate. Patricia. Potomac Falls, VA. Sun May 31 2026

This design helps maintain a consistent look in your home, saves you from frequently reorganizing your spaces, and reduces the risk of trips and falls. Soft & Well-Designed: This low-pile hallway features a solid edge design, making it ultra-soft yet durable enough to withstand everyday wear and tear. It's perfect for high-traffic areas such as entryways and under furniture, and its low profile ensures it won't obstruct doorways. Machine Washable: Say goodbye to worries about spills or stains! This rug is designed to be stain-resistant and incredibly easy to clean. Simply toss it in the washing machine, use cold water, and hang it to dry or air dry. For everyday maintenance, you can use a robot vacuum, broom, or just wipe it clean. If your vacuum has adjustable power settings, set it to low. Tips for Creases: The kitchen rugs may have slight creases from shipping, but there's no need to worry. Simply lay the rug flat in a spacious area and allow it to naturally unfold; the creases will disappear within a week. For more pronounced creases, gently iron the back with a steam iron for quicker recovery."

I love these. They are perfect for my new stairwell. We wanted to change the visual in the stairs and this does the trick. Just subtle enough but still pretty. The sticky backing isn’t super sticky, so I had to tape too. So it took a bit longer to get them installed. Plus they are sometimes slightly crooked at the ends but nothing too bad.. Sarah. Very nice and easy to use. I ordered black but they look dark grey to me. You can readjust them if you need to and the design is nice too. They are a nice width and length great if you wear socks on a hardwood floor that is slippery. Lisa. Philadelphia, PA. Fri Oct 23 2026

These carpet treads look beautiful on my stairs. Perfect depth, not too thin or thick. The treads make the stairs look more finished and add a touch of elegance. They’ve been installed for a week and so far have not slipped or come unattached from the steps. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the plastic covering the adhesive backing. You must remove the very thin plastic before you install. No matter what I attempted, the plastic didn’t remove easily. It tore off in pieces leaving little plastic pieces still attached. If the manufacturer would perhaps use a different material or thicker backing Overall I’m very pleased with the purchase.. Christine. Andover, VT. Sat Oct 24 2026
