This is a cute table! It’s sturdy and has clean straight lines. I have a small eating area so needed smaller table and this works nicely. This table obviously does not look like a high end table but for the price point it is excellent and will work perfectly for my needs. It’s a nice neutral color and you can easily pair any chairs with it. I recommend looking for chairs with a more narrow seat to fit under the table and I had white chairs from my last kitchen set which did not look good. But i love the way the painted chairs look with it- they play off each other well. I have been using this table for about a month now, and the long, distinct indented lines on both sides of the tabletop are still there and have not disappeared at all. This is clearly a permanent manufacturing defect rather than temporary shipping pressure—most likely from sub-base seam splicing or a flaw in the veneering process. While its hard to notice in dim indoor lighting, it is painfully obvious and highly distracting under direct sunlight or when backlit by the windows. For a dining table at this price point, the craftsmanship and quality control are deeply disappointing. I love the fluted design of this table. The only reason my docking 1 star is the tabletop itself seems pretty cheap and is a little corny looking but I’ll hide it with a table runner and placements eventually.
