However, my fan, Aire Drop, received an update to the light kit and remote (CCT LED), for which this module is not compatible. This is the WFR50 which works for regular LED light kit. My electricians installed 9 of these into our new house with Spitfire Fanimation fans so that we wouldn't need to mount remotes on our walls. I select this switch option because we do not have light kits with our fans. No issues with install but I find the the lowest setting on the switch is still really fast. It seems like there needed to be at least another one or two lower speed settings on these switches. These downrods by Fanimation are available in multiple finishes and lengths and will fit many installation needs. Recommended downrod length is based on ceiling height, with an ideal distance from floor to fan blades being 7 to 9 feet. Downrods can be joined together using a downrod coupler for extended lengths.
