Decent fan for the price. Instructions were very basic without a great deal of detail. Had to do some research on the web to clarify wiring questions. But, all in all, assembly was not difficult and the fan seems to be quiet and has several speed andlighting modes. Remote is useful. Tips: 1. If your outlet has red, black, and white wires, only the black and white are connected to fan; cap the red with a wire nut. 2. Green and yellow wire on bracket connects to ground. 3. You may need to replace two existing screws on motor with longer screws in order to secure the ceiling cover. 4. A flat screw driver set is very helpful in securing those two screws because the space between the cover and motor housing is tight. 5. Some bolt holes were too small for the bolts supplied. The item arrived well packaged and installation was relatively easy. The very last part of install was the light and there were two male connections instead of a male female, but just cut the end off and hardwired it not a big deal. Very nice looking fan. Easy to install. It has a lot of options for the fan and lights. The biggest negative is that we cannot use the switched on the wall to control the fan only the light. I purchased this fan in brushed stainless. Love it. But buyers beware, it does not come with the light as pictured. Nor with a remote, which it claims in the website headline. Misleading for sure. I didn't want the lights and small print under "what's included" shows the light is not part of what is offered for the "sale" price. But I did want remotes.
