With a natural wood design, this found board will make a great accent to the rustic décor. Fill it with potted plants or a selection of glass encased candles for ultimate display. For a special way to display figurines, place it on a shelf and spread the figurines throughout the wood board.

The design is okay, appears as shown, but the wood doesn't look very reclaimed, but rather like a cheap imitation. The stain is the biggest problem. The color is off, it looks like it was trying to be black, even though what it shows online is more dark brown, but It looks like someone applied the stain too lightly, and so it looks purple in many places - the overall color looks purple with a few blackish/grey spots. I am on my way to the store to buy some espresso colored stain and try and fix it myself. Very disappointed! Update after staining myself; it looks really great and was a fairly easy fix. This product is ok. It's a little tough to work with, not very flexible and comes wrapped in a coil, like a snake. You have to let it soften up and unwind it before you can work with it. Use your hands to get it to conform to the wood planks. I used drywall screws to hold it in place. Since it was in the ceiling you can't see the screws. I don't think that glue would have worked, too much resistance. It's really expensive for what it actually is, which is a strip of rubber with knobs on it, but it does the job of hiding the seams in my wood ceiling beams and pretending to be wrought iron straps..
