I can't really review this item. I loved tge look of it online and bought it as a quick fix until we do a proper refresh next year. I never even opened the box. Once received we realized we didn't need the table after all. The return was pretty hassle free, the only thing that would have made it better would be a free return. Although the cost was fair.. This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too. My husband and I absolutely love the look and how versatile the design is. If you want to achieve a modern, timeless or even farmhouse vibe in your house, this will fit your needs! 10/10 recommend. . For the price so far, so good. I find it hilarious that the ribbed wood pedestal is Velcrod to the table But it looks fine enough for my purposes. I bought the table more for looks, as it will rarely be used. Still, its very decent quality (as much quality as you can get from MDF and veneer), and seems sturdy with the extra middle support. Id say it seats 8 comfortably. If you have slimmer profile chairs, you could squeeze in 10 tightly.. Heather. Sacramento, CA. Fri Aug 28 2026

Great table! Easy to put together albeit a bit time consuming. Good instructions, extremely sturdy, but it turned out great! No wobble and looks premium for the price. The only downside is obviously the lines running down, especially since it didnt fit exactly 100% perfectly, but can probably just hide it with a wide enough table runner. Overall for the cost id give it a 5 out of 5.. John. Springfield, NJ. Thu Sep 10 2026
