Raw character takes center stage in the Black Wood Stool. Its simple, block-like form lets the wood's natural grain, cracks, and time-worn texture become the design, giving each angle an organic, sculptural quality. Deep, dark tones add visual weight while the compact proportions make it an easy accent for spaces large or small. Equal parts understated and unexpected, it brings the beauty of Nature indoors in its most elemental form.

Make a bold statement with contrasting colors of red and brown streaks atop the natural wood grains, knots, and burls. Place one next to a lounge chair, use it as a sitting stool at an entry, set out a beautiful plant, or display your favorite photos and collectibles. Send a timeless living accessory for a housewarming, birthday, or wedding gift or just because you care. Skilled artisans hand-pick and sand down each slab of wood, preserving the natural shape, wood grain patterns, and color. Each piece of wood undergoes a multi-step process that includes recombination, polishing, painting, waxing, and finishing with a natural lacquer. With an ultra-soft rag, simply dust the surface of the tabletop and legs avoiding vigorous scrubbing as cedar is a softwood and can dent and scratch easily. It is also recommended that a sealer be applied occasionally to retain its color and stability.

Love this stool! It’s perfect! Strong, sturdy and perfect for my huge snake plant!. Cheryl. PA. Sat Oct 31 2026

The piece is absolutely beautiful and has its own natural imperfections. It’s a nice piece that I topped with glass for extra protection. I also purchase teak oil for cleaning and sealing. The down side is ray the side table is incredibly short. With this piece it will require a tall vase or decor that will look as if the side table is taller. Very nice though and super heavy!. Alana.
