Our contractor opened the box and found that the sink had a crack running the length of the sink. We contacted the manufacturer through the Wayfair website. We heard back from the manufacturer within 24 hours and they told us that they would replace the sink. However, there is no way that one can separate the sink from the countertop. We called a Wayfair representative and within 24 hours Wayfair had reordered our item to replace the broken one. It arrived today and looks beautiful. I would rank the vanity 5 stars out of 5 stars and thank Wayfair for such prompt resolution of the problem; however, I ranked it 4 stars out of 5 because of the inconvenience of receiving the broken item. There should be quality control in regards to checking an item before packaging it. There was no evidence on the package that something was damaged in transit. We have ordered a lot of items from Wayfair and this was the first time we had a problem. We would definitely order from Wayfair again, especially with their customer support team!. Emily. I ordered the ready to assemble version. The vanity arrived in one flat package that weighed about 100 pounds. We received everything listed. The parts were well packed, and we had no shipping damage. The metal hardware was of better quality than many assemble yourself products and they included extra screws. There are a lot of places to screw in short screws, a magnetic screwdriver would be good to use! I had a 60" vanity so some of the parts were large. There were a couple of steps in the assembly where I needed to flip the sides/front/bottom of the vanity over, a good-sized assembly space is helpful. The pre-drilled holes were in the right spots. The doors and their hinges are preinstalled. The hardest part was getting the back panel onto the front and side pieces. I had trouble fitting the back into some of the grooves, which at that point had been glued. The rubber mallet came in handy. We stopped for the day after getting the four sides together and let everything dry. The support panel that went between the back of the cupboard and the toe kick was too short. It could not be screwed into both ends. I looked to see if we’d assembled something incorrectly but couldn’t identify what was off. Since the center panel is positioned below where the drawers attach to the back panel, we put shims into the gap, glued and screwed them in rather than leave one end unsecured. The drawer sliding hardware was tricky. I found that the video on the web site was more instructive about the glide hardware than the written description. There are more holes drilled into the back of the cabinet than can be used. The plastic slides are adjustable, but the instructions about how to do these were weak. We purchased a 60-inch double bathroom vanity set in light brown from Wayfair, and it turned out even nicer than expected. It looks beautiful in our basement bathroom, and everyone who has seen it has complimented it. It has a high-end, “fancy” look and does not feel cheap at all. The overall build feels solid—especially the doors, which appear to be solid wood—while the interior shelves are not solid wood, which is typical for furniture in this price range. We really like the soft-close drawers and doors, which add a premium feel. The matte black metal handles also match the design perfectly. The countertop is quartz, and it feels thick, durable, and high quality. It also comes with a matching backsplash, which makes the whole set look complete and well-designed. For the price, this set feels like a steal compared to similar vanities we looked at on other sites. One important thing to note it is extremely heavy and comes fully assembled in one piece. There is no cabinet assembly required—just placement and plumbing hookup—so the hardest part is moving it into place. It cannot be broken down for easier transport. Even with help from delivery personnel, it was still very difficult to get into position. I would strongly recommend paying for extra delivery service or professional movers, especially if you need to bring it into a basement or upstairs bathroom. Once installed, everything arrived without damage and works perfectly. Overall, it’s sturdy, beautiful, and an excellent value—just make sure you plan ahead for moving it due to the weight.. Tina.
