Great bench, arrived quickly and undamaged. Wood is medium colored as shown online (sorry my photo is backlit by a window and makes it look darker). Cushion is very firm do NOT recommend plopping down to test sitting. Double check the hardware before opening everything. We were missing a few long screws for the bottom, but had the right size at home and were able to substitute them in.
