I did A LOT of research before buying this chair, and I am happy with my purchase. It came in 1 decently packed box. The assembly took 5 minutes, and we are very happy with it so far! It is not a huge, oversized chair - but that's great because we needed something that would pair nicely with our existing living room furniture without swallowing up the room. My only concern is keeping it clean with 2 teenage boys...but we shall see. It looks like it can be spot cleaned pretty well, but time will tell. I also would've loved it be just a wee bit darker beige, but it is a nice creamy color (in pics the view from behind is more accurate color in person). It is very comfortable, and I love that it is "push back" without extra latches, pulls, pockets, or needs to be plugged in to recline. Am hoping with time seat cushion will mellow a bit. 3. My husband and I are both under 6’ I can see if you are taller than that the chair especially in reclined mode will not fit you well. 4. The chair does fully recline to an almost horizontal mode you just need to pull the chair away from the wall if you have it close to allow space. So simple to put together but getting the back legs to line up took a little effort. Firm but comfortable. Nice fabric texture and color- soft but seems like it will be durable. Lastly I am concerned that with some use the print looks like it may wear off. I can't be certain about that. Hope this helps anyone who may be comptemplating purchasing these chairs. Received the new chair this morning. Husband was able to bring the box in through the front door (36") without a problem. No plastic wrap but the two pieces were packed nicely and inside a cheese cloth like bag. Legs screwed on easy and the back snapped into place with no issues. Description says seat cushion is removable, I'm disappointed to find that it is not. Back rest isn't high enough to rest your head and neck on when sitting or reclining. I reviewed the dimensions and reviews many times and did not think that was going to be the case. The push back is smooth and easy as is bringing it back to upright position. Fabric is more polyester feeling than I would prefer or thought it would be based on review photos. Several reviews said it was more gray than beige. I don't find that true. It's a darker beige and the design is light beige. I placed a light gray pillow in the chair for comparisons and contrast. It sits high and very firm, exactly as I wanted. The arm rests are comfortable for me. The purpose of the new chair was to replace the old worn sloughing one and give my living room a new look. It was left at my fromt door. I'm a female senior of 71 years old and I was able to slide the box inside , thank goodness with no issues. Unboxing was easy, assembly was so easy as well. The chair itself is exactly what I wanted. Kicking back to recline is easy , doesn't take much and sitting back up is simple. Now I'm barely 5 ft, weight 138lbs. I really do not recommend this chair for tall people or heavy set people. When I lay back my head sits at the top of the chair and my feet hang off the chair. So I can't imagine this chair being comfortable for tall people or bigger people. It is perfect for a small person like myself. But hey I guess if anyone wants to take a chance by all means. Few things 1. Box is heavy - need two people to carry inside 2. The chair cushion is firm but comfy - and because of that, I find sits a bit high. Am hoping with time seat cushion will mellow a bit. 3. My husband and I are both under 6’ I can see if you are taller than that the chair especially in reclined mode will not fit you well. 4. The chair does fully recline to an almost horizontal mode you just need to pull the chair away from the wall if you have it close to allow space.
