I want to love this so so much! It was easy to install and other than being tedious work to hang the crystals they were easy. It looks absolutely gorgeous, however as you can see, I did not expect that the room would be so dark above the light, I also did not realize the rest of the room would have the broken light pattern on it. I have never owned a chandelier so I was unaware of these effects. For those reasons I dropped a star off. But the fan is so awesome on this light and the light it gives to the floor is excellent as well. I also do not like that the remote for this light is black. These are lovely lights. I purchased 3 to hang from a high cathedral ceiling.The fabric has a very soft pattern that I believe helps to diffuse the light. Although the fabric appears a bright white, and depending on the bulbs you pick, when they are on, it is soft and muted. We put ours on a dimmer, and they can be bright or a really soft accent. At night, stunning. These are very elegant and I feel they can be used in any setting from mid century, to traditional. In my case, it is transitional.These are semi flush mount, and I needed them to hang about 3 feet lower, so we were able to find matching brass rods and the connectors and it looks wonderful.
