It was a perfect fit for my German Shepherd. I am a 78 year-old female and thought I would have problems putting it together. But, with help from my 16 year-old granddaughter we were able to assemble the doghouse within an hour. The instructions were clear and every piece was labeled according to the instructions.. Gwen. This insulated cat house features a six-sided, all-around foam insulation design (covering all walls, roof, and floor) to lock in comfortable temperatures and provide your cat with optimal protection from the cold and heat. The heating pad is seamlessly integrated with the heated cat house, maintaining a constant and safe temperature for pets (35°C/95°F to 45°C/113°F) via an built-in thermostat. The entrance is equipped with a door curtain to effectively reduce the intrusion of cold air and rain. The openable design facilitates access to the interior, making daily cleaning simple. Suitable for multiple stray cats.

Sturdy, well insulated and good for multiple cats. I covered one of the lower doors to keep the wind from blowing in by changing it to a heavier fabric. I also had to remove the other plastic door flaps because the cat was too afraid of them. (The flap alterations happened later and aren't shown in the picture) Easy to assemble and took about an hour. Some of the pieces did not have labels and it was difficult to know if we had the Velcro in the right direction. Keeps the rain out well. I had to lure her in with cat treats multiple times before she saw it as a safe place. Great buy, would recommend. Although, the cat perch on the top floor is not wide enough to entice the cat. It's too narrow. The bottom porch is perfect to hold a water dish and food to comfortably eat on.. Andrea. Tyrone, PA. Fri Oct 02 2026

My pig loves his new home. He's 7 and roughly 107lbs. We've added terrracotta tiles under the floor to enhance the weight limit. I plan to add wood sealer when the uv and storms take their toll, but it comes coated in something because water beads. We sprayed the inside with pet safe mold and mildew killer. I purchased this dog kennel before moving and had it shipped directly to my new address. After settling in, I assembled it myself. I was surprised it arrived in five packages, and once started putting it together, I quickly realized how heavy it is! I highly recommend assembling it exactly where you plan to use it, as it's nearly impossible to move once fully assembled. The pre-drilled holes and markings made the process easier than expected. My dog is incredibly strong and has managed to escape from every enclosure we've tried before. But with this kennel, I finally have peace of mind. He has plenty of space to move around and genuinely seems to enjoy relaxing inside. The metal roof looks sturdy, and I'm looking forward to seeing how well it holds up against rain and snow..
