As soon as I received it today, I couldn’t wait to start assembling it. Since I don’t have much assembly experience, I didn’t fully understand the instructions. I didn’t realize that the bottom section could be installed on either the left or right side, so I initially assembled it incorrectly and had to switch the direction. Everything is fine now, but I had to remove the horizontal panel on the back because otherwise, I couldn’t fit the furniture into the space. As a result, the bottom part feels a little wobbly and doesn’t feel very secure. I had no choice but to drill holes in the wall to secure the furniture. I wanted something that would add comfortable extra seating to our family room without competing with our larger furniture, and this turned out to be the perfect choice. The curved barrel shape is what makes it special. It looks beautiful from every angle, which was important because ours sits near the fireplace and windows where both the front and back of the chair are visible. The soft gray fabric is a wonderful neutral and blends beautifully with our flooring and rug while still looking substantial enough to stand on its own. The seat is also much roomier than I expected. It has that cozy, curl-up-in-it feeling without looking oversized or bulky. I added a bright red pillow for a pop of color, and the simple gray upholstery makes it incredibly easy to change the look with different pillows or throws throughout the year. Another thing I appreciate is the clean, tailored construction. The curved back flows seamlessly into the arms, and there isn’t an unattractive “back side” that needs to be hidden against a wall. This is a chair you can float in a room and actually want people to see from every direction. It gives us exactly what I was hoping for extra seating, comfort, and a modern shape that softens all the straight lines in the room. This was the over the toilet installation with the most storage we could find and we're really excited about it. It is nice looking and we love that it holds so much, especially living in a small apartment. it took a long time to put together, but mostly because it was so complicated. The instructions were pretty clear, as these things go. Couple minor complaints: 1) Our bathroom has a bit of a smell with it newly installed. I'm sure this will go away but a little concerning that it is off-gassing. 2) One of the doors arrived with a flaw, the coating was coming off, which is super disappointing.
