First part of the assembly was easy but the last part took two of us to put it together and get it hung, so I would definitely recommend having a second person to help if you're purchasing the double-door version. For the price point, this garland is excellent! Personally, if I wasn't going to be decorating more than just lights I would probably go with a more full and cylindrical garland but thats just personal style. I agree that it is realistic looking! The battery case is attached not swinging on a long cord. You do need to fluff the stems which is true of all swags.
