Our telescopic design enables you to easily adjust the rod length, ranging from 16 inches to 144 inches, suitable for window sizes from 72 inches to 144 inches. Just slide the inner rod or disassemble the rod section as needed. Before purchasing, please measure the entire window frame (not just the glass). The length of the curtain rod should be 4 to 12 inches longer than the size of the window frame. This extra length (referred to as the "overlapping part") enables the curtains to be neatly stacked on both sides when opened. For a 36-inch window, please choose a curtain rod that is 40 to 48 inches long.

Heavy duty curtain rod love it. Joshua. Plymouth, WI. Sat Jun 20 2026

This black curtain rod is designed flexibly and adopts a single-sided telescopic connection design. It can be easily adjusted in length by removing the rod sections or extending the telescopic rod. The adjustment range is 32 to 240 inches (2.7 to 20 feet), suitable for window widths of 26 to 235 inches (2.1 to 19 feet). Thanks to the seamless joining technology, the assembled curtain rod has a smooth and simple appearance, ensuring smooth curtain sliding and preventing any jamming during use. Before purchasing, measure the window frame size to select the appropriate size. Curtain rod size = overlapping length (2-6 inches) + window size + overlapping length (2-6 inches). The overlapping length depends on the thickness of the curtain or the required size for stacking, so a suitable curtain rod should be at least 4-12 inches longer than the window size. For a 240-inch window, at least 4 brackets are required when hanging heavy curtains.
