This bed is AWESOME! My 9yo daughter loves it and so does her 11yo brother. She’s tall for her age and our ceilings are on the low side (house built in 1982), but she’s able to be comfortable when she’s in her bed without issue. I wanted to find something to maximize her small bedroom and allow flexibility. Right now she has a little sofa under it, but as she grows, we’ll be able to rearrange the space into something different! She went from hating her room to loving it. It did have a small flaw on the white pieces, but it was small enough to not worry about, considering what the kids will put it through. Cannot recommend this bed enough. The frame itself seems relatively sturdy and will do the job for my 6 and 8 year old great grandchildren I believe. It was just put together today and I can't speak to how well it will hold up to children's use or the overall sturdiness and length of use. What I was not happy with was being uninformed about a couple of things. I contracted for the "assembly service". I was unaware that delivery of the bed was not allowed to be brought indoors. I am older and can't lift these packages so it was quite a problem getting them in and then into the room. I expected a delivery to be brought into the room the beds were going into. Also, I did not expect that not only would the delivery be separate from assembly but that assembly did not include the movement. Wayfair told me to move the boxes into the room, open and inspect myself. I would have hired a more full service if that was the case. However, the person who did the assembly was great - did a very thorough job, personable, willing to help, professional and prompt. Ashely was awesome. After using almost 2 months, I must say the screws keep falling out. Also, I noticed it says I received something for my review but I don't know what that was supposed to be. It was just what we needed, but then we moved....... We are still using it in our new place, but boy can I see what a space saver this would have been in her other room. Not that her current room is large or anything. My soon to be 9 year old daughter is enjoying it , but compared to another bunk I bought through wayfair, it is far less sturdy. I tried to jam it hard into a corner to add as much support as possible. My husband and I also double checked all the connections, but you can feel the pressure on the ladder as you climb up to the top. This bothers me a little, but she is still small enough. It might be a bigger issue for a teenager. For me, it is a notable issue, so I'll place this piece at a 4 star. However, overall, the piece does the trick on space saving with a desk included. My daughter love it. There is a little more wobbly feeling to it than i would like but it is to be expected with a loft bed. It took forever to build. This is a nice, stable loft bed that holds up to a full size mattress. It provides an awesome setup for smaller rooms with the desk attached under the bed and the wardrobe on the side to store toys or clothing. The staircase going up to the bed is wonderful and provides more safety than a traditional ladder type bed. The lights are a fun addition to the bed providing a nice glow around the bed. The only complaint I think we had when putting together is the screws labeled D were too short for some of the parts they instructed us to use them for so we used the longer one of the same size (Screw A) and it worked out. It took me about 3 hours to put together by myself. I seen comments saying the instructions were confusing but I didnt think they were bad to be honest. This would be a 5 star review if the "13" guard rail" was truly 13" its more like 12. Other than that everything felt study and went together well. Very pleased with this bed! After purchasing another wooden loft bed also from Wayfair that not only came with a few damaged pieces, but missing pieces as well my husband and I were hesitant about this bed, but were surprised. This bed came on time with all pieces, no damage and was packaged a hundred times better. Instructions were pretty straightforward and bed is extremely sturdy which was our main concern. Our four year old climbs up and down the ladder with ease. Material bins are also well made and strip lights add a cool touch.
