Great shelf! Easy to install right into studs. One of the L-brackets was clearly less that 90° angle but it didn't actually make a difference. I hung it and everything is level. Color was accurate too. One thing to note: is is not a solid piece of wood. The one I received appears to be at least two pieces glued together. But, it was a pretty seamless joining so I am happy.. Although it’s not recommended to place it above a bed, I needed a shelf that wasn’t too heavy to install above my dresser and hold my projector. I really wish the color were lighter, the way it looks in the photos (I bought the Special Walnut), but aside from that, the included pieces are great and quite heavy. We just moved into a house with a kitchen that -- surprise! -- has no upper cupboards. This is partly because there are several windows, and it's worth having lots of light, but when a guest asks where they can find a mug or a cup, it seemed weird to tell them to open a low cupboard to find one. These are pretty shelves and have a nice texture to them that feels like real wood. We are using them throughout our home rather than all in one spot. I should have read the dimensions more carefully because they don’t really work for most planters unless very narrow.
